Quick Trip to Kyoto
While there’s so much to do in Tokyo itself, we also wanted to take advantage of being in Japan to see some other parts of the country. Everyone told us that Kyoto was a must-do, so we booked tickets for the bullet train and decided to spend a night there. Kyoto feels very different from Tokyo. Just as we were getting ready to pack up and move back to the US from London, Josh got assigned to a three-month project in Tokyo. Becca is lucky that she works remotely, so we decided to take advantage of the opportunity and spend time in Tokyo together. Lucky in Ireland
Ireland wasn’t high on our bucket list until we moved to London and heard from so many people about how much they loved it. We were lucky that our friends Jeff and Rachel wanted to come visit us in Europe, and they were also interested in visiting Ireland. We spent five days driving around the west coast, enjoying the beautiful scenery, delicious food and live music culture. It was a great trip to do with friends and we had such a fun time.
